One person suffered devastating burn injuries in a Sunday morning house fire that left the Arches Avenue home in ruins.
El Dorado Hills firefighters were dispatched to the blaze at 4:15 a.m., finding “a well-advanced fire with flames reaching 50 to 60 feet in the air,” according to a Facebook post. “Portions of the home began to collapse within minutes of firefighters arriving.”
Fires scorch grassland along Green Valley Road in El Dorado Hills
Two fires estimated at 5 acres broke out at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Green Valley Road and Francisco Drive.
The fires were quickly contained by the El Dorado Hills Fire Department and are under investigation as to the cause.
